2025 Branchburg FALL Baseball Registration
· Registration for Branchburg Baseball Club 2025 Fall Baseball is now open.
· Please help us by registering no later than July 15, 2025.
Eligible Players
· Any male or female child in grades Pre-K through 5th Grade is eligible to play fall baseball. To be eligible for fall baseball, Pre-K players are defined as any child who will be entering kindergarten in the fall of 2026.
· Players from Branchburg and all surrounding towns are eligible to play fall baseball with the BBC.
Focus
· Fall Baseball with the BBC is geared toward players who enjoy the game of baseball, but want to play in a less competitive environment than our spring rec baseball league. Continued skill development is a main focus of the fall.
· For players who are baseball novices, our fall league is a great opportunity to get involved and try a new sport, even if you are in 3rd grade or higher and have never played baseball.
Registration
· The registration fee for 2025 fall baseball will be $100 for all players.
· The BBC Financial Assistance Program is available as in past years. Please do not hesitate to contact the President for more information, which will be kept in the strictest confidence. Email to rich@tradeweb.com.
· A $30.00 late fee shall be applied to all registrations received after July 15, 2025.
· Please register early as this helps the BBC Board to form teams early and ensure fall uniforms are available for distribution prior to opening day.
· Registration for fall baseball is by grade. Please register your child according to their grade level in the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. All children will be placed into the appropriate fall baseball league based on their grade. If their grade level is incorrect on their registration, the player may be placed into the incorrect league.
Fall Baseball Leagues
· The BBC runs 3 different baseball leagues for the fall.
o Rookie – Grades PreK and Kindergarten
o AA – Grades 1 and 2
o American – Grades 3, 4 and 5
· The number of teams formed in each league will depend on the number of children registered to play.
Schedules
· Opening day for the 2025 fall baseball season will be on Saturday, September 6th.
· Final games will be played on Saturday, October 25.
· No games will be scheduled on Saturday, September 27 due to the Branchburg Country Fair.
· Teams will be scheduled to play 2 games each week with one weeknight game and one Saturday game.
o Saturday games will be played at 2 and 4 pm. Afternoon games are played to avoid conflicts with rec soccer and affords the opportunity for children to participate in both fall rec leagues.
o Weeknight games will be held Monday through Thursday. Friday games are also possible. Final weeknight schedules will depend on the number of teams formed in each league.
· Final team schedules for the season will be available after teams are formed and should be complete by mid-August.

o WOP1, WOP2, WOP3, WOP4, WOP7, WOP18 AND WOP19 are all located at White Oak Park on Baird Road.
o CS5 and CS15 are located at Branchburg Central Middle School on Baird Road across the street from White Oak Park.
o Challenger field is located next to the Branchburg Municipal building near the intersection of Route 202 and Old York Road.
Parental support
· Parental support is essential toward maintaining the quality and success of our programs. By way of volunteer time, the BBC is able to keep fees and other ancillary costs at a minimum and competitive with surrounding area programs while providing the best quality program for your children.
· Parent volunteers to manage teams are the greatest need for fall baseball. A team manager or team co-managers is necessary for all teams to form within a league. In order to move forward with forming teams in each league, all managers must be identified prior to August 1. The BBC will move to cancel any fall baseball league that does not have enough parental support through team managers.

Parents Code of Conduct
PREAMBLE
The essential elements of character building and ethics in sports are embodied in the concept of sportsmanship and six core principles: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and good citizenship. The highest potential of sports is achieved when competition reflects these six pillars of character.
I therefore agree:
1. I will not force my child to participate in baseball.
2. I will remember that children participate to have fun and that the game is for the children, not for the adults.
3. I will learn the rules of the game and the policies of the league.
4. I (and my guests) will be a positive role model for my child and encourage sportsmanship by showing respect and courtesy, and by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, officials and spectators at every game, practice or other league function.
5. I (and my guests) will not engage in any kind of poor sportsmanship conduct with any official, coach, player, or parent such as booing and taunting, or using profane language or gestures.
6. I will not encourage any behaviors or practices that would endanger the health and well being of the athletes.
7. I will teach my child to play by the rules and to resolve conflicts without resorting to hostility or violence.
8. I will demand that my child treat other players, coaches, officials and spectators with respect regardless of race, creed, gender or ability.
9. I will teach my child that doing one's best is more important than winning, so that my child will never feel defeated by the outcome of a game or his/her performance.
10. I will praise my child for competing fairly and trying hard, and make my child feel like a winner every time.
11. I will never ridicule or yell at my child or other participant for making a mistake or losing a game.
12. I will emphasize skill development and practices and how they benefit my child over winning. I will also de-emphasize games and competition in the lower age groups.
13. I will promote the emotional and physical well being of the athletes ahead of any personal desire I may have for my child to win.
14. I will respect the coaches and their authority during games and will never question or confront coaches at the game field or in front of the children, and will take time to speak with coaches at an agreed upon time and place.
